Active duty, veterans, retirees and family members. Tell us which one you are and we will show you the fastest way to be seen, in person in Los Angeles or by video.

Which one are you?
Your coverage decides whether you can book with us directly or need a referral first. Pick one and we will tell you exactly what to do.
Your referral comes first. Then we take it from there.
Ask your primary care manager or the behavioral health clinic on your installation for a referral to MindHealthMD. Once it is approved, call us. We will confirm the authorization and book your first visit.
Do you have a referral from the VA Community Care Network?
Veterans see community providers like MindHealthMD through the VA Community Care program. The VA has to refer you before your visit is covered.
Not sure who to call? The VA's main line, MyVA411, is 800-698-2411. If you run into roadblocks, call us and we will help you through it.
You can book with us directly.
Call us and we will confirm your coverage and book your first visit, usually within days.
Have your TRICARE information ready: sponsor's name and date of birth, and your DoD Benefits Number from your ID card.
What happens next
Three steps, then your first visit.
Tell us who you are and whether you have a referral. If you do not, we will point you to the right office.
TRICARE or VA Community Care. We handle the paperwork with them, not you.
A full psychiatric evaluation with one of our clinicians, in person in Los Angeles or by video.
